In short

• Your post text is processed in your browser. Only when you explicitly run the AI assistant is the text in the assistant sent to the AI provider (see below).
• The app uses no analytics, no ad trackers and no external fonts.
• The app itself sets no cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage (localStorage), see below.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you open the site, Vercel processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time, requested URL and browser identifier to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. Your post text is not part of this.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, fast and working service). A data processing agreement with Vercel is in place (Art. 28 GDPR). As Vercel also processes data in the USA, transfers are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses; Vercel is also certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Runtime logs are kept by Vercel for 1 day and then deleted. More information: Vercel privacy policy.

On the public site neither the app nor our hosting sets cookies. Vercel services that use cookies or usage analytics (such as Web Analytics) are not enabled.

Local storage in your browser

The following entries are stored only in your browser and are never transmitted. They stay until you delete them, either through your browser’s site data settings or, for the draft, with the “New” action.

Legal basis: Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act), because the storage is strictly necessary for the function you requested (keeping your draft and settings).

Offline use (service worker)

So the app also works without a connection and when installed, a service worker stores the program files of the site (pages, scripts, styles, icons) in your browser’s cache storage. Your post text and your input are not part of it, and nothing is sent to us. The cache is replaced automatically with each new version; you can delete it through your browser’s site data settings. Legal basis: Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG.

AI assistant

When you click “Create suggestion” in the AI assistant, the text in the assistant (draft or notes plus your settings) is sent through our server to the AI provider, and the suggestion is returned. Nothing is sent without that click. We do not store inputs or answers and do not write them to logs. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the function you requested).

The AI provider is Google Cloud EMEA Limited, 70 Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland (Gemini API, paid tier). Under the Gemini API terms, Google does not use inputs and answers to train its models, but logs them for a limited period solely to detect abuse. Google’s data processing addendum applies. Data may be processed temporarily outside the EU, in particular in the USA; Google bases such transfers on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at the address above.
